| Q:Hi,
this is Brenda in Texas and I would like to know when Red Eye
will be showing? I read the synopsis and I enjoyed it so much.
God loves you,
Brenda
A: Hi Brenda,
We don't have a release date at this time but we’ll keep
you posted on the news page of the website.
Q: Hey Michael,
First let say that I am a big fan of yours have been for a longtime.
It was a real treat for me to see you on Y&R. Are you going
to be on more episodes or was it just temporary?
Debbie
A:
Hi Debbie,
Thanks for your support. Right now it’s an open-end situation
but I would plan on seeing lots of Danny in the next few months.
How long Danny sticks around is up to the writers and fan response,
so write or e-mail Jack Smith at Y&R. He really listens to
what the fans think. Remember, without you there would be no show!
Q:I love your
new video, Shadows in the Night. I just wish I could see it on
T.V.
Also, please tell me where I can purchase the CD and also the
CD of Dreams of Summer! I have been watching and hoping that you
would be back on Y&R soon.
From A Very Loyal Fan,
Diane Howard (also Roger)
A: Hi
Diane and Roger, thanks for your kind words! You can watch Shadows
anytime you like on michaeldamian.com.
I’ve seen copies of Dreams of Summer on eBay.
Q: How
do you get a copy of the new CD? Also, are you going to be touring
this year, especially around the Seattle, Tacoma, WA. area? I
Used to work for your Fan Club, back in the 80's but have lost
touch with life & all.
Thanks! -Teri Lyn
A: Hi Teri, Great to hear
from you, I hope you are well!
My schedule is a little too crazy to squeeze in a tour right now.
I have a full plate between taping Y&R, writing a feature
film script called “Hot Tamale” and beginning pre-production
for a film I’ll be shooting this summer called "The
Nude".
Q: Hi
Michael,
I have loved your music ever since I first heard your hit, Rock
On. And just recently I received an opportunity to hear your older
hit "She's In A Different World" and absolutely fell
in love with that song. I've been wondering all these years as
to when you plan to release a Greatest Hits album. Do you have
a plan to do so in the very near future?
Thanks,
Michael
A: Hi Michael,
Firstly, thanks you for your wonderful
compliment. That’s a great idea! I’ll do some research
into putting together something like that and we'll keep you updated
on the website.
Q: Michael
I so need to know where I can get the video "Rock On"
and the cd "Where Do We Go From Here". I have looked
but no luck, I would like to have them for my keepsakes,
Thanks, Trista
PS u were my only crush I had growing up
A:
Hi Trista,
I’m honoured to be you’re only crush growing up -
that means a lot to me! Again, as with Dreams of Summer, I would
check out eBay or musicstack.com and hopefully you will have good
luck finding the album and video.
Q:
Hi Michael,
I am a musician myself and play hard rock but I listen to many
different types of music. I loved the song 'Letting Go" it
is my favorite song that you have performed. Now I have 2 questions
for you my first is what is your favorite song that you have performed
and where can I obtain a copy of "Love is a Mystery"?
Thanx 4 answering questions that i am sure you have answered a
million times.
Sean
A: Probably "Close Every Door"
from Joseph was my favorite. I love the arrangements of Andrew
Lloyd Webber and the lyrics have deep meaning - it’s an
emotionally powerful song for a singer to perform. As for "Love
is a Mystery" you could try looking for it on ebay.com or
musicstack.com.
Q Holiday
album! I'll 'up you'.
Watching 'Y &R' for about 18-20 years (on & off) - I remember
when 'Danny' hit it big on the show & on radio, not to mention
MTV.
I am not here to remember - I, Scott, Publisher of three novels,
needs a little help. Two novels; 'Eight Wishes From the May-Flower'
& 'Pourman's Library' could use a soundtrack. Novel; 'Pourman's
Library' includes a poem titled, 'Dream Pilot' - for my benefit,
for your benefit, a suggestion for the show; and only a mere suggestion,
William Bell, this could turn out to be another 'Rock On' or 'Was
It Nothing At All'.
Thank you very much and good blessings to you and Cricket/ or
Lauren?
Scott
A Hello Scott,
Thank you for your suggestion. If you have anything that you think
would be good for Danny, you could send it in to Jack Smith at
Y&R. He’s the head writer and always interested in the
fan’s thoughts.
Q Hi! Just wanted to welcome
you back on Y&R and tell you how much you’ve been missed.
I was getting a bit fed up with the story line and about to stop
watching, until you appeared! It’s wild how you and Robert
Torti both have joined the cast at the same time, what a reunion!
Congratulations on your marriage. Living in France must have been
great, I went there on my honeymoon and loved it. I saw you many
times in Joseph when you were in NYC, and met you by the stage
door you were always so nice. You were fantastic in Joseph. I’d
love it if you were on Broadway again, then I could meet you again.
How do you like being back at Y&R? if you knew Robert would
be there, how Janeen is, and if you would ever come back to Broadway?
Marie
A Hi Marie,
No, I didn’t know that Robert was on Y&R and was thrilled
to hear of his arrival. I don’t have any plans to do a play
at this time but will let you know if that does happen down the
road. Thank you for coming to see me in New York in that very
cold winter, and for your kind words about my marriage. Janeen
is great and we had a wonderful time living in France.
Q Would you ever consider doing
a Broadway play again? You were great in ‘Joseph’.
Also, is that Robert Torti, who was Pharoh with you in ‘Joseph’
on ‘Y&R’ now too?
By the way, it’s great to have you back on ‘Y&R’.
A Thanks. It’s great
to be back and I like to say never say never, so we’ll see
how things play out. Some time down the road, I would like to
return to Broadway, as it was a dream come true for me.
Q Michael
My name is Glenda and I have been a big fan for many years (I
too come from a family of 9 and also share your birthday of April
26th). My question is, what was it like for you in your family
that all your brothers and sisters were in the music industry?
much competition? Also, how many boys/girls are there?
Thanks and I look forward to the new album.
Fan in New Orleans
A Hi Glenda,
First of all it’s great to finally
meet someone also from a large family and Happy Birthday for the
26th! It was wonderful growing up with 6 sisters and 2 brothers.
There was always someone to play with. There were always instruments
lying around the house, so we had to form a band! That or a baseball
team LOL. There was never enough hot water with 6 sisters. It
always ran out, so I had to take many cold showers or get up early!
The plus side to having 6 sisters was, they tended to spoil me,
which was wonderful!
Q Dear Michael,
Can you solve a friendly dispute between my girlfriend and myself?
She claims that back in 1981, when I was in 8th grade at Our Lady
of Lourdes parochial school (in Montclair, CA), you made an appearance
and performed at the school. I believe that I would have remembered
such an appearance, so since I don't, I think it was probably
in 1982, the year after I graduated! I know it was a long time
ago, but can you solve this perplexing question for us?!?
Thanks for your time,
Rick
A Hi Rick,
I'm sorry but I can’t remember the date but I do remember
performing there. I remember that I had a great time. I'm sorry
I can't help resolve your dispute with your girlfriend.
