Ft Wayne, Indiana - June 26th 2002

I have been a long-time fan of Michael's and have followed him since his early days on Y&R. Last night I had the opportunity to meet him for the first time. Michael was scheduled to make an appearance here in Ft. Wayne, IN at Eddie Merlot's, and what a night it was. In the midst of a terrible thunderstorm, Michael spent about two hours with fans who had braved the weather to see him.

Michael is extremely well spoken and very down to earth. He posed for as many pictures as his fans wanted and chatted with everyone as he signed autographs. The best part was yet to come, as Michael treated everyone to an acoustic performance of his new song "Shadows in the Night", accompanied by his brother on guitar. The two have a wonderful harmony together and made our night even better by doing an improvised version of "Rock On".

Considering the terrible weather, many celebrities would have cancelled their appearance and left fans disappointed. With rain coming down in buckets and lightening threatening to shut down the power, Michael lit up the night with his million-watt smile, terrific personality, grace and charm.

Thank you so much, Michael, for such a terrific night. We look forward to your new TV pilot and your album.

PS. My roommate is thrilled that you told her she has beautiful eyes!
