Michael recently embarked on his latest radio tour to promote his new
single, "Shadows in the Night". We thought it would be fun to
share some of the events and stories of the tour so far.
July 18th 2002 - Bakersfield, California
|
Michael performs live in the Kelly Lounge for KLLY 95.3 FM.
He is joined on stage by brother's Larry (guitar) and Tom Weir
(drums) and Shirley To (bass).

July 14th 2002 - New York
Michael took part in 100.7 WHUD's Summerfest 2002 at Croton Point Park,
New York.

July 6th 2002 - Pensacola, Florida

Evening concert performance with Michael headlining on the beach
in Gulf Breeze. He performs Shadows, Wild Irish Heart, Still Mad
About You, Was It Nothing At All, Rock On and for an encore sings
the NY Mix of Shadows.
As fans gather on the steps of the stage to get a closer look and
to take photos, Michael asks one lady if she would like her photo
taken too and brings her up on stage to take a snap.

DJ, Michael Stuart and a few young fans join Michael on stage as backing

After the show he takes time out to sign autographs and pose for photos
with the enthusiastic fans.
July 3rd 2002 - New Orleans, Louisiana
|
8.30 am Michael arrives at the CBS affiliate, WWL TV, at New Orleans,
LA. He is taping an interview with anchor man, Eric Paulsen for
the Morning News that will be screened the following week.
They discuss 'Shadows in the Night', the making of the video as
well as his possible return to 'The Young and the Restless' and
Michael's starring role as Joseph on Broadway.

July 2nd 2002 - Lafayette, Louisiana
|
Michael appears on the Morning News for both CBS and ABC as well
as hosting the Morning Show with Bobby Novasad on 94.5 KSMB.He then
performs live at the Stadium Club for a fundraiser for Acadiana
Youth.

June 30th 2002 - Melbourne, Florida
|
Lite Rock 99.3, KLRQ organise a Light Jazz Brunch at the Chowder
Seafood Restaurant in Melbourne, FL.
Michael performs live by the sea, with the jazz band. Songs include,
'Shadows', 'Was It Nothing At All' and 'Rock On'.
He then signs autographs and poses for pictures with eager fans
- one lady even turned up with her copy of Michael's first single,
"She Did It", for him to sign.
Just as it's time to leave, the heavens open and it pours with
rain!!
Is this tour jinxed we ask ourselves?

June 29th 2002 - Vero Beach, Florida
|
WGYL's DJ Juan O' Reilly meets us at the airport in Melbourne,
Florida with a limo for the hour long drive to Vero Beach. Michael
arrives at the Treasure Coast Mall where he performs live in front
of a very enthusiastic and warm audience. We learn that some fans
have been waiting for over four hours to meet Michael and that many
have asked if he will be singing "Rock On".
Michael sings Shadows, Was It Nothing At All and Rock On. He then
answers a few questions from the crowd and makes one lady's day
with an

impromptu rendition of "Another You", her favourite song of Danny's
on Y&R.
The line of eager autograph hunters keeps growing as Michael spends the
next couple of hours signing autographs and posing for pictures.
Finally everyone is satisfied and it's time for dinner at Saint Lucie Blues
in Port St. Lucie where we are joined by DJ's, Juan O'Reilly, Mike Fitzgerald
and Barbara St.James as well as some of the crew from WGYL.
After dinner, it's back in the limo for the ride back to our hotel. We finally
get time to relax as Michael and I doze off watching television.
June 28th 2002 - Evansville, Indiana

Michael performs live on stage at the Evansville Freedom Festival,
rather appropriately named Thunderfest. Find out why in the second

organised by WHBC, Mix 94.1. He performs a few songs, including "Shadows
in the Night", accompanied by his brother, Larry on guitar.
